The Challenge
Our client required urgent support to hire 12 permanent employees to launch a brand new in Birmingham, with a need for candidates to start as quickly as possible.
The client was presented with a unique challenge, as the site was still in its early stages with no physical office presence, making it more difficult to engage candidates and showcase the opportunity effectively – they needed a recruitment partner who could act quickly and attract the right calibre of candidates.
OA received the requirements just days before Christmas, creating a highly time-sensitive scenario where attracting, engaging and securing the right talent at pace was critical to ensuring a successful site launch.
The Approach
Our approach was built around dedication, pace and full ownership of the project. We assigned two dedicated account managers to lead the delivery, ensuring complete focus from understanding the required skillsets through to advertising, screening and candidate registrations.
Our team managed the entire process end to end, conducting multiple screening and registration calls to quickly build a strong pipeline of suitable candidates. To accelerate hiring, we travelled to Birmingham just two days before Christmas to deliver back-to-back interviews as part of our recruitment day initiative, capturing real-time feedback from both candidates and the client to keep the process moving efficiently.
We returned again ahead of the New Year to host additional recruitment days, maintaining momentum and ensuring all vacancies were filled within the required timeframe. This hands-on, proactive approach enabled us to deliver at pace during a particularly challenging period.

All 12 permanent vacancies were successfully filled within the required timeframe, ensuring the client had a complete team in place ahead of their new site launch.
